NeuralPaint Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026
This policy explains how NeuralPaint (the "App"), operated by Sato Apps (Japan), handles information. By using the App you agree to it. It replaces the earlier policy published at neural-paint.web.app.
Information we handle
- Photos. Photos you take with the camera or choose from your photo library. To apply an art filter, the photo you select is sent to our server.
- Results. The filtered image returned by the server. It stays on your device unless you save it to your photo library or share it.
- Usage and device data. A device identifier, app version, operating system, device model, events such as the filters you use, and crash and performance data.
- Advertising data. Device identifier and ad interaction handled by the advertising provider (see "Ads and tracking choices").
- Subscription data. Whether you have a NeuralPaint PRO subscription, handled by Apple. We do not receive your card number.
- Support information. What you send us by email.
- This website counts clicks on its buttons in a way that does not identify you (no cookies are used).
How we use it
- To apply the art filter you chose to your photo.
- To show ads in the free version and to provide PRO.
- To understand how the App is used, fix crashes and improve quality.
- To prevent abuse and answer your inquiries.
Who receives information
Providers handle data under their own policies.
Photos and faces
Photos that show people can be filtered. Please use photos you have the right to use and, if a person is shown, their permission. The App does not use photos to identify or authenticate anyone.
Ads and tracking choices
The free version shows ads. The advertising data in the list above is used to show them.
On iOS you can change tracking permission in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in Settings > Google > Ads.
Retention and deletion
The App has no account. Data on your device stays until you delete the App or its data. The server processes the photo to return the filtered image; a copy of the photo and the result may be kept for quality review and troubleshooting. To ask us to delete a copy, email support@satoapps.com with the app version and the approximate date and time you used the App. Apple, Google and other providers keep their own records under their policies.
Children
NeuralPaint is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided some, contact us and we will delete it.
